Food Services Assistants

IRT Aged care centre are seeking Food Services Assistants to join our team at Berala on the Park, Auburn NSW to work a variety of morning and afternoon shifts.  


We will work with you to see what you are looking for and how we can match you up with our opportunities.   


Your work may include:

  • Working with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
  • Delivering and serving meals to our residents
  • General laundry duties, including personal laundry
  • Interacting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationships
  • Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
  • Helping with various domestic duties such as cleaning of general areas

To be successful you will have:

  • Experience delivering hospitality (desirable)
  • A big heart – an empathetic approach and strong customer service skills
  • Experience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)
  • Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable)
  • Availability to work a range of shifts
