About the Role
At IRT, we're committed to creating better futures for older Australians. We're seeking an experienced and motivated FM Systems & Compliance Lead to drive our facilities maintenance systems, compliance activities, and planning functions across our diverse property portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for a systems-focused leader who enjoys combining technology, data, compliance, and people leadership to deliver outstanding operational outcomes.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group Head of Facilities Management, you will lead the Facilities Management Planning & Administration team and take ownership of our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You'll ensure maintenance activities are planned, coordinated, tracked, and reported effectively while maintaining high standards of compliance, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the administration, optimisation, and governance of the CMMS platform
- Manage asset registers, preventative maintenance schedules, and workflows
- Coordinate reactive, planned, and preventative maintenance activities
- Lead and develop a team of Facilities Planning and Administration professionals
- Monitor contractor performance, compliance, and service delivery outcomes
- Produce operational reporting, dashboards, and maintenance analytics
- Ensure statutory maintenance and compliance obligations are met
- Support audits, risk management activities, and contractor safety processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across facilities systems and processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and service providers
About You
You are a highly organised leader with strong technical and operational expertise in facilities management systems. You enjoy using data to drive decisions and have a passion for improving processes and service outcomes.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Experience in facilities management, asset management, maintenance planning, or CMMS administration
- Proven leadership experience managing operational or coordination teams
- Strong knowledge of CMMS platforms such as Maintenance Connection, MEX, Epicor, or similar
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and contractor management experience
- Advanced organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities
- Qualifications in Facilities Management, Asset Management, Property, Business Administration, or a related field (desirable)
