About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Qualified Gardener that has a demonstrated ability to deliver a high standard of gardening for our Illawarra sites in a full time capacity.
Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator, you will perform garden maintenance and general maintenance at our IRT Illawarra locations.
Your work may include:
- Plant selection and planting
- General plant and lawn care
- Removal of leaves, pruning and weeding
- Application of fertilizers and mulches
- External cleaning such as window and roof cleaning
- Using tools and equipment in a safe manner to complete works
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Relevant qualification in landscaping or horticulture
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety
- A Demonstrated experience in a general maintenance or gardening
- An unrestricted current drivers licence and the ability to travel to other IRT sites as required
- The ability to work flexible hours working a rotating roster and to answer to after hour emergency call outs when required
- A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- The ability to use technology such as smart devices and computers
