About the Role

Our Workforce Planners are key to the payroll and rostering process for employees in our Aged Care Centres. The position will be based across our Aged Care Centres in the Dalmeny.

We have a unique opportunity for a Workforce Planner to join our team on a part-time basis with minimum 32 hours per week working from 11:00am to 7.30pm. Weekend and varied shift work may be required in this role. 

No experience? No worries! We will support you with a thorough training and buddy program.

As a Workforce Planner, you will:

  • Develop schedules in line with business needs.
  • Assist the Workforce Coordinator to effectively roster our employee resources.
  • You will be responsible for the publishing of rosters, processing of employee status changes and employment transactions whilst using your knowledge of interpreting relevant industrial instruments to provide a professional service to our staff. 
  • Manage contacts from employees and team leaders relating to planned and unplanned absences, and assess requirement for backfilling or additional shifts
  • Ensure compliance to all company and industry guidelines
  • Set new staff up on the systems

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Previous experience in Rostering and/or other similar position
  • Qualifications in business, commerce, human resources and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • High level skills with Microsoft Office products and HR information systems.
  • Payroll Certification (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
