We are looking for passionate and dedicated Home Care Employees to join our team in Canberra on a permanent part time basis!

 

 

IRT Home Care is a division of the IRT Group, provides a range of services to people living in their own homes across NSW, QLD and the ACT. 

 

 

You will be joining a supportive and growing team that is passionate about providing general, personal and clinical care to our customers who remain living independently in their own homes. 

 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Personal care such as showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
  • Domestic assistance such as cleaning and household support 
  • Transportation to appointments, shopping, social outings and other customer tasks
  • Regular reporting and communicating customer progress 
  • Following individual care plans 
  • Travel to customers within the ACT and surrounds such as Queanbeyan, Murrumbateman, Braidwood & Bungendore.

 

 

To be successful you will have: 

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or a Certificate IV in Ageing Support (desirable) 
  • Medications unit of competency (desirable)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Current unrestricted driver’s licence (regular driving is required)
  • A reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance (work related approved kilometres are paid fortnightly)
  • The availability to work weekdays, weekends, afternoons and/or evenings
