We have multiple Permanent Part Time positions for experienced aged care workers available in the Canberra, Queanbeyan and surrounding suburbs!

 

 

Your day will look like:

 

  • Domestic Assistance including cleaning and cooking or meal preparation
  • Personal care including getting them up, showering and dressing
  • Driving clients to medical appointments or taking them shopping
  • Providing social support and community engagement
  • Providing complex care and medication management

What we look for in an Aged Care Worker:

 

  • A big heart, empathy and a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life
  • Driver’s licence and a fully insured car
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Current flu vaccine (or willing to obtain)
  • Willingness to complete medication assistance and insulin cert
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resilience and ability to work independently
  • You're available to work at least 3 days a week -  we offer both midweek and weekend shifts to suit your lifestyle
