About the Role
As a Bus Driver, you’ll play a key role in opening up opportunities for our residents to access opportunities to experience new connections, enjoy social activities and reduce incidences of isolation.
We have a part time role with a minimum of 12 hours per week available within our Aged care centre: IRT Macarthur.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Pick up and drop off our elderly residents from various locations while providing assistance with access and egress from the bus as required.
- Review suitable venues in the community that meet the needs of our elderly residents
- You will also be responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle. This is an extremely rewarding role contributing to the activity offerings for residents to enhance their life, sense of security, companionship, fun and relaxation.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Previous experience driving passenger vehicles
- A current Light Rigid (LR/MR) Licence
- A current First Aid certificate (Or willingness to obtain)
- The ability to work a variety of shifts
- A willingness to work flexible hours to coordinate/attend after hours events
- Experience working with elderly clients is desirable
