About the Role

Looking for experienced Construction Trainer who will provide high quality accredited training delivery and assessment that meets student needs and upholds compliance requirements with vocational education and training (VET) regulations.

 

This is a permanent role working in 3 days delivering training at High Schools in Sydney, the other 2 days will be onsite at Coniston until September, with travel covered. From September, the role will shift to 5 days a week at Coniston.

 

The ideal candidate will be supporting the Training and Assessment of the following qualifications:

CPC20220 - Cert II in Construction Pathways 

CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card) 

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
  • Tertiary/post-secondary qualifications from a related field (Building & Construction, carpentry)
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in delivering Training
  • Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound digital literacy skills and people engagement skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration/co-design skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and coordination skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Current Australian driver’s license
  • Current First Aid Certificate
