About the Role

Looking for experienced Construction Trainer who will provide high quality accredited training delivery and assessment that meets student needs and upholds compliance requirements with vocational education and training (VET) regulations.

This is a casual role delivering training at High Schools in Sydney. Training will be located at Hawkesbury High School and potentially Western Sydney – Oran Park High School (1 - 3 days per week). 

 

The ideal candidate will be supporting the Training and Assessment of the following qualifications:
•    CPC20220 - Cert II in Construction Pathways
•    CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card)

 

ITeC Academy is prepared to provide the required training for First Aid and Construction Pathways if the candidate does not have these qualifications. Successful candidates would need to be prepared to travel to Wollongong prior to courses commencing in February to undergo on boarding/training.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
  • Tertiary/post-secondary qualifications from a related field (Construction, preferably carpentry)
  • Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in delivering Training
  • Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound digital literacy skills and people engagement skills
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration/co-design skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability and coordination skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • NSW Working with Children Check
  • Current Australian driver’s license
  • Current First Aid  & CPR Certificate
  • Current Working With Children Check 
  • Anaphylaxis training (or willing to get one).
