About the Role
As a Trainer & Assessor in the Aged Care sector, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality training programs that prepare students for meaningful careers in aged care. This role requires a strong understanding of aged care practices, regulations, and standards, as well as the ability to engage and inspire learners.
We have two full-time positions available on a 12-month fixed-term contract, contract possibility to extend, with the possibility of extension. These roles involve working Monday to Friday. We are looking for qualified and enthusiastic trainers who are passionate about supporting students to achieve their career goals in the aged care industry.
You will be responsible for the training and assessment of the following qualifications:
•    Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021 or similar)
•    Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015)
•    HLTHPS007 Administer and monitor medications
If you do not currently hold a First Aid qualification, ITeC Academy will provide the required training.
Job specific duties: 
•    Deliver high quality industry relevant training and assessment that complies with nationally endorsed training package guidelines, industry standards and legislation
•    Facilitate the delivery of training courses and assessment activities as scheduled
•    Assess, identify and address the varied needs of students and deliver training that aims to meets individual needs
•    Support student placement arrangements and maintain contact with host employers
•    Conduct assessments in a timely manner adhering to timelines communicated to students
•    Process recognition of prior learning and/or credit transfer applications according to RTO policies and procedures
•    Engage workplace managers and supervisors, participants and other parties in the delivery and implementation of workplace based training and assessment
To Be Successful You Will Have
•    Current APHRA registration (RN/EN)
•    Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122)
•    Tertiary/post-secondary qualifications from a related field (Aged care)
•    Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in delivering Training
•    Outstanding presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
•    Sound digital literacy skills and people engagement skills
•    Excellent teamwork and collaboration/co-design skills
•    Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
•    Demonstrated problem solving ability and coordination skills
•    Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
•    NSW Working with Children Check
•    Current Australian driver’s license
•    Current First Aid  & CPR Certificate
