What you’ll be doing: 
As a Lifestyle Team Leader, you will be responsible for the assessment, design, delivery, and evaluation of activity programs for our residents. Our programs aim to offer varied experiences, both group and individual, including those residents with dementia or special needs. You will use your experience and skills in the Aged Care sector to provide leadership and mentoring to a team of passionate and skilled Lifestyle Officers across the three Aged Care Centres. 


To be successful you will have: 

  • A qualification in an appropriate field such as Certificate IV Leisure and Health, Certificate IV in Aged Care
  • Experience working in the Aged Care Sector, and in supervision of staff
  • Initiative and creative flair in program development
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • High level interpersonal skills and experience liaising with employees, residents, visitors and contractors 
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the needs of persons living with dementia
  • The ability to work as part of a team and be able to prioritise work to meet deadlines
