About the Role
Are you someone who takes pride in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? Do you enjoy hands-on work, being outdoors, and making a real difference in people’s day-to-day lives? IRT Parklands is on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Gardener in a Full Time capacity, to help keep our communities looking their absolute best.
Based on the stunning Sunshine Coast, you’ll work closely with our Facilities Coordinator and village teams to deliver high-quality gardening and grounds maintenance services across our retirement communities.
Your work may include:
- Plant selection and planting
- General plant, gardens and lawn care
- Removal of leaves, pruning and weeding
- Application of fertilizers and mulches
- Using tools and equipment in a safe manner to complete works
- Undertake general maintenance duties as required
- Maintaining lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas to a high standard
- Supporting minor outdoor maintenance tasks as needed
- Keeping villages safe, tidy, and visually appealing for our residents
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Relevant qualification in landscaping or horticulture (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
- A proactive, can-do attitude with great attention to detail
- Someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in their work
- Strong communication skills and a friendly approach with residents
