As an Aged Care Educator you’ll plan, deliver, and evaluate tailored education activities that address the specific learning and development needs of staff. You will actively contribute to enhancing staff capability related to the aged care quality standards, fostering continuous improvement. We are looking to appoint interested and enthusiastic individuals to work in our Aged Care Centres at:
IRT Crown Gardens and IRT Moruya – Permanent part time role, minimum 20 hours per week

Your work may include:
- Provide quality education and assessment to meet aged care/home care core education needs and local service requirements.
- Contribute to the development & ongoing continuous improvement of education and assessment resources consistent with education strategies and procedures and education package requirements
- Deliver, assess and record education activities inclusive of; induction, local orientation, core competency assessments and other topics as allocated.
- Maintain and manage education records to ensure their accuracy and integrity.

To be successful you will have:
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent or willing to work towards
- Experience in residential aged care/home care
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of the principles of adult learning, access and equity, Workplace Health and Safety, legal and ethical practice
