Located approximately 5 hours from Sydney and 3 hours from Canberra, IRT Dalmeny have developed a new role as Care Manager to lead the aged care leadership team pursuing excellence in leadership.
 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to bring to IRT Dalmeny their drive for operational excellence and to ensure our residents receive quality care.

About the role:

  • Full accountability for the day to day operations of IRT Dalmeny, ensuring  the management and delivery of resident relations is satisfactory to IRT policies and procedures 
  • Delivering exceptional operational performance in line with the Aged Care Standards and IRT annual objectives 
  • Ensuring all administrative requirements including care plans and other programs are documented in a complete and timely manner
  • Identifying workforce requirements including recruiting, monitoring and developing through performance reviews 
  • Empowering, supporting and mentoring a team of employees and volunteers to continue to deliver and improve upon a high quality of care

 

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role
  • Current Australian Nursing Registration (AHPRA) 
  • Commercial acumen including working with operational budgets and financial management 
  • Proven leadership skills with developing individuals and teams to achieve strategic outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of AN-ACC, Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation  
  • The ability to role model continuous improvement and facilitate change through others
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate empathetically to people from diverse backgrounds, values and cultures 
  • A current Drivers Licence
