Home Care Worker

As a home care worker, you’ll help support our clients to maintain their independence and live at home for longer. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!    

We currently are growing and have multiple positions available in the Merimbula, Tathra, Eden & Bega regions for all levels of experience with permanent- part time opportunities.

Your work may include:

  • Assisting our clients with their daily living needs such as light housework, cooking and meal preparation
  • Helping clients with showering, dressing and grooming
  • Driving clients to medical appointments or taking them shopping
  • Providing social support and community engagement

To be successful you will have:

  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • Current valid driver’s licence
  • A reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current flu vaccination (or willing to obtain)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • A big heart – you’re empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (desirable). If you’re not currently qualified, we can help get you there through our training organisation IRT Academy
