Here at IRT we value our Registered Nurses so much that we offer the below incentives:
1st or 2nd year Registered Nurses entering IRT will be reclassified to a Registered Nurse 3rd year ($38.04 per hour) upon a successful performance review. 
New 1st and 2nd year will be paid at a 3rd year rate ($38.04 per hour) following a successful probation review at 3 months, and progress to Registered Nurse 4TH year ($40.00 per hour) at the completion of 1976 hours.
Registered Nurse 4th year will progress to Registered Nurse 5th year ($44.19 per hour) after completion of 1976 hours. 


What you’ll be doing:
You will provide a high standard of clinical care whilst managing and supervising care workers. You will undertake client assessments, monitor clients' care needs, evaluate care plans and provide treatment as required. 


To be successful you will have:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Experience working as a Registered Nurse in an Aged Care Centre environment 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
  • Knowledge of the process of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) reporting while meeting any legislative and organisational requirements.
