About the Role
As the Residential Manager, you'll lead the operations of IRT Sarah Claydon Aged Care Centre. If you have experience as a clinical leader, and you're passionate about Aged Care, then this position is for you!
IRT Sarah Claydon Aged Care Centre is located within the delightful town of Milton, NSW. This is a full-time position - 38 hours per week.
Your work will include:
• Full accountability for the day to day operations of IRT Sarah Claydon including the management and delivery of resident relations, satisfactory to IRT policies and procedures
• Delivering exceptional operational performance in line with the Aged Care Standards and IRT annual objectives
• Ensuring all administrative requirements including care plans and other programs are documented in a complete and timely manner
• Identify workforce requirements including recruiting, monitoring and developing through performance reviews
• Empowering, supporting and mentoring a team of employees and volunteers to continue to deliver and improve upon a high quality of care
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Demonstrated experience in a similar leadership role with a passion for Aged Care
- Current Australian Nursing Registration (AHPRA)
- Commercial acumen including working with operational budgets and financial management
- Sound knowledge of AN-ACC Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation
- The ability to role model continuous improvement and facilitate change through others
- Sound technology skills including clinical management systems and Human Resource Information System
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate empathetically to people from diverse backgrounds, values and cultures
- A current Australian Drivers Licence
- Post graduate qualifications would be highly regarded.
