About the Role

This is more than a traditional BDM role — it’s your opportunity to drive meaningful growth while making a real difference in people’s lives.

As our Customer Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of your region across Caboolture, North Brisbane and the Redcliffe Peninsula, building strong community connections and driving new Home Care customers through a highly proactive, relationship-led approach.

This is an autonomous, field-based role where you’ll be out in the community — not behind a desk — developing referral networks, representing IRT at events, and building brand awareness in your local area. You’ll have full ownership of the customer pipeline, from lead generation through to conversion, working closely with marketing and operational teams to deliver targeted initiatives that drive sustainable growth.

From generating leads to guiding families through important care decisions, you’ll play a key role in helping people access the support they need to live independently, while delivering an exceptional customer experience at every stage.

This is a role for someone who thrives on autonomy, enjoys being visible in the market, and is motivated by both commercial success and genuine impact.

To Be Successful You Will Have

You’re someone who knows how to build momentum, create opportunities, and turn relationships into results — all while keeping the customer at the centre.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or growth-focused roles, ideally within home care, aged care or community services
  • Strong understanding of the aged care system, particularly Support at Home (or the ability to quickly build this knowledge)
  • A natural ability to build trust and influence with a wide range of stakeholders — from referrers to families
  • Confidence working autonomously, managing your own pipeline and driving outcomes in your region
  • A proactive, “get out there and make it happen” mindset with a passion for community engagement
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent IRT at events and in the local market
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities and respond to market insights
  • A genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the abve regions

Highly regarded (desired):

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Case Managment,  or a related discipline
  • Experience within the aged care and/ or Home care would be preferred
