About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse in the Sunshine Coast area to support our IRT home care customers by ensuring they receive personalised care that is tailored to promote their wellbeing.

 

You will undertake customer assessments, monitor clinical care needs and provide treatment as required. As part of your role, you will assist with evaluating care plans, supporting case managers while meeting any legislative and organisational requirements.

 

Flexible hours can be negotiated for the right candidate to suit school hours, child care or other commitments.

 

For this role we are looking for:

 

  • Registered Nurse with at least 3 years’ experience – Located in the Sunshine Coast area.
  • Monday – Friday – Part time 24 hours per week is on offer during office hours.

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration with minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Full Drivers licence and a fully insured car
  • Experience working as a Registered Nurse in home care or aged care
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
  • Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resilience and ability to work independently
  • A big heart - you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
