About the Role

As a Qualified Gardener you’ll deliver a high standard of gardening and services. Reporting to the Facilities Management Coordinator, you will perform garden maintenance and general maintenance at our locations across the Eurobodalla region. 

This role is extremely diverse, with the successful candidate attending to a variety of maintenance activities to support the needs and interests of our residents and clients. 

 

Your work may include:

  • Plant selection and planting
  • General plant and lawn care
  • Removal of leaves, pruning and weeding
  • Application of fertilizers and mulches
  • External cleaning such as window and roof cleaning
  • Using tools and equipment in a safe manner to complete works
  • Undertake general maintenance duties as required

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Relevant qualification in landscaping or horticulture
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety
  • A Demonstrated experience in a general maintenance or gardening
  • An unrestricted current drivers licence and the ability to travel to other IRT sites as required
  • The ability to work flexible hours working a rotating roster and to answer to after hour emergency call outs when required
  • A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • The ability to use technology such as smart devices and computers
