IRT Home care, a division of the IRT Group, provides a range of services to people living in their own homes across NSW, QLD and the ACT. We are seeking motivated and dedicated Home Care Employees to join our team on either a part time basis of at least 15 hours per week or on a casual basis, depending on availability. 


We are currently looking to recruit new team members to fill predominantly weekend shifts. 


Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care including showering, dressing and medication assistance
  • Providing domestic assistance such as food preparation and household cleaning 
  • Transportation to medical appointments, shopping and social outings 
  • Regular reporting and communicating customer progress 
  • Following individual care plans and report on customer progress


To be successful you will have: 

  • Certificate III in Individual Support 
  • Medications unit of competency (highly desirable)
  • Previous experience in Aged Care/ Home Care
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current valid driver’s licence (regular driving)
  • A reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance (work related approved kilometres are paid fortnightly)
  • The availability to work across, weekends, as well as afternoons and/or evenings throughout the week
