About the Role

We have two positions and shifts available for Hospitality Employee / Food services assistant at our Aged Care Centre in Peakhurst, New South Wales.

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity, with minimum 12 hours per week working between 0930 and 1330, and 1500 and 1900 hours. 
No late nights and shifts available to suit a range of circumstances. We will work with you to see what you’re looking for and how we can match you up with our opportunities.   

 

Your work may include:

  • Working with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation
  • Delivering and serving meals to our residents
  • General laundry duties, including personal laundry
  • Interacting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationships
  • Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
  • Helping with various domestic duties such as cleaning of general areas

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Experience delivering hospitality (desirable)
  • A big heart – an empathetic approach and strong customer service skills
  • Experience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)
  • Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable)
  • Availability to work a range of shifts
