About the Role

As an Aged Care Educator you will plan, deliver, and evaluate tailored education activities that address the specific learning and development needs of staff. You will actively contribute to enhancing staff capability related to the aged care quality standards, fostering continuous improvement. Empower your team with a culture of continuous learning and growth.


We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to work in our Shoalhaven Region in a part time, 3 days per week capacity and willing to travel.

 

Your work may include:

  • Providing quality education and assessments to meet aged care/home care core education needs and local service requirements
  • Contribute to the development & ongoing continuous improvement of education and assessment resources consistent with education strategies and procedures and education package requirements 
  • Deliver, assess and record education activities inclusive of; induction, local orientation, core competency assessments and other topics as allocated
  • Maintain and manage education records to ensure their accuracy and integrity. 

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment or equivalent or willing to work towards
  • Experience in residential aged care/home care 
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 
  • Understanding of the principles of adult learning, access and equity, Workplace Health and Safety, legal and ethical practice
