About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and people-focused Team Manager to lead our Home Care team supporting the Northern Illawarra region.
This is an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a confident leader who enjoys coaching others, building high-performing teams and creating a positive workplace culture. Whether your leadership experience comes from healthcare, community services, disability, customer service, hospitality, retail, or another service-based environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day management of our frontline team, ensuring they feel supported, engaged and empowered to deliver exceptional service to our customers. You'll work collaboratively with operational and rostering teams to ensure services run smoothly while driving performance, continuous improvement and team success.
Our preference is for the successful candidate to be based out of our Coniston office.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, coach and support a team of frontline employees, fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance and performance coaching to help team members succeed.
- Partner with the Regional Operations Manager to support workforce planning, resource management and operational outcomes.
- Assist with attracting, onboarding, developing and retaining a capable and engaged workforce.
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives that build capability and support ongoing professional growth.
- Work closely with the rostering team to ensure effective workforce coverage and respond to day-to-day operational priorities.
- Facilitate team meetings and ensure clear, consistent communication across your team.
- Support the rollout of business initiatives, projects and operational improvements.
- Monitor service quality, customer feedback and team performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to operational planning, policies and process improvements that enhance both employee and customer experiences.

You're a supportive leader who enjoys bringing out the best in people. You build strong relationships, communicate with confidence and know how to balance people leadership with operational priorities.
You'll also bring:
- Experience leading, supervising or managing a team in a customer-focused or service delivery environment.
- A proven ability to coach, motivate and develop employees while fostering accountability and engagement.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative approach.
- Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Confidence using technology and managing administrative and reporting tasks.
- A relevant qualification or equivalent leadership experience is desirable.
Experience in aged care, home care, disability, health or community services will be highly regarded but is not essential. We're looking for an exceptional leader who is passionate about developing people and delivering great outcomes.
