As a Graduate Operational Compliance & Improvement Officer you’ll be supporting the IRT Catering team to ensure their food products are compliant, safe and of high quality for our customers.
Your work may include:
- Support and provide advice to the Catering Management team on safe cooking, cooling, food storage, and correct food handling techniques
- Monitor the performance of food safety and quality systems such as internal auditing, visual inspection, microbial testing and cleaning practices
- Manage, develop and maintain documentations including food safety manuals, SOP procedures, Duty Statements and other operational standard documents
- Observe, measure and conduct data analysis on operational performance to establish a baseline
- Support the delivery of the business plan and other duties required by the General Manager Catering

To be successful you will have:
- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant field such as Food Technology, Food Science or Food and Nutrition
- Demonstrated understanding of current legislation from NSW Food Authority and Codex HACCP guidelines
- Understanding of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems
- Ability to deliver training to staff
- Understanding of food production or food manufacturing
- Valid driver’s license
