About the Role

IRT Catering, a division of the IRT Group is in the process of developing our business of the future. Our Unanderra facility produces over 40,000 home-style and nutritious meals each week. We have a team of dedicated professionals who ensure we deliver the highest quality products for our customers.  

We are seeking to appoint a Stores Officer to work on a full time basis, 7am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Stores Officer Supervisor, this role plays a key part in ensuring all goods that are dispatched are received on time whilst maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment at all times
  • Accurate receipt and storage of goods as well as picking up and delivering of supplies and products to clients as requested
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, including temperature check charts are completed and returned at the end of each shift
  • Checking the vehicle condition and safety prior to loading
  • Adhering to road rules and other legislative requirements
  • Ensuring correct quantities are delivered by checking bags and trays against delivery dockets
  • Delivering a high level of customer service

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • Forklift license and drivers license 
  • Truck drivers license MR (desirable) 
  • Exerience in Food Handling (desirable)
  • Experience with driving refrigerated loads 
  • Have strong customer service skills, as well as good written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy
