IRT Aged Care Traineeship Program

If you’re keen to gain valuable skills and secure employment in a growing industry, an Aged Care Employee Traineeship could be the path for you. 


We are looking for enthusiastic and caring people, with a genuine interest in a career in aged care, for multiple, part-time traineeship opportunities with IRT. There are positions available across our Aged Care Centres in:
•    Sydney (Kirrawee, Macarthur, Auburn)
•    Illawarra (Woonona, Tarrawanna, Wollongong, Kanahooka)
•    Shoalhaven (Nowra, Culburra Beach, St Georges Basin, Milton)
•    Eurobodalla (Batemans Bay, Moruya, Dalmeny)
 


This exciting program is for a minimum of 24 months, and includes undertaking a Certificate III Individual Support, delivered by IRT Academy, whilst gaining on-the-job experience and secure employment in a rapidly growing industry.


Our traineeship programs commence six times per year, with applications accepted anytime. 


To be successful you will have:
•    Commitment to undertaking the Certificate III in Individual support qualification
•    A big heart – you’re empathetic, adaptable and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
•    A passion to begin your career in the aged care sector 
•    Flexibility and availability to work shifts that include weekends, late afternoons and/or early evenings
