About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Development Coordinator to join our Strategy, Property & People team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of property development projects that will enhance the lives of our residents, customers and communities.

Working alongside experienced development professionals, you'll help coordinate projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered efficiently, on time and within budget.


Reporting to the Development Manager, you'll provide project coordination and administrative support across a range of property development initiatives. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and external authorities to help keep projects on track while maintaining high standards of governance, reporting and documentation.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the planning and coordination of property development projects across the full project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes and follow up on project actions.
  • Maintain project documentation, registers, approvals and document control systems.
  • Assist with project schedules, budgets, reporting and financial administration.
  • Support consultant engagement, tender coordination and contract administration.
  • Monitor project milestones, risks and timelines.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and project updates for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate development approvals, permits and compliance documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, consultants, contractors and regulatory authorities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project systems and processes.

To Be Successful You Will Have

You are highly organised, proactive and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. You have excellent attention to detail and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

 

You'll also bring:

•    Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction Management, Project Management, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
•    Approximately 1–3 years' experience in property development, construction, infrastructure or project coordination roles
•    Strong organisational and administrative capability.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams 
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities 
•    Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
