About the Role

At IRT Group, we’re launching a landmark Retirement Living development—Diment in Wollongong—and we’re looking for a sales professional who thrives on ownership, performance, and purpose.

This isn’t a “steady-state” sales role.
This is high-impact, and high-reward.

The Opportunity

As our New Development Sales Manager, you’ll lead the sales success of Diment—owning the journey from first enquiry through to settlement and smooth transition to the operations team. This is a full time, 2 year fixed term opportunity, based in Wollongong.

You’ll be the face of our development in the local market, building relationships, generating demand, and ultimately converting interest into thriving community living.

Key focus areas:

•    Drive local area marketing and business development across Wollongong and surrounds
•    Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from enquiry to settlement
•    Conduct tours, host events, and confidently close high-value property sales
•    Deliver on ambitious and achievable sales and settlement targets
•    Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
•    Bring fresh thinking to how we attract and convert new residents in a competitive market

What's in it for you

  • 2-year fixed-term opportunity (possible extension to future new developments)
  • Competitive salary including a high-performing incentive structure
  • A rare chance to own and shape the success of a new development
  • Strong leadership visibility and support (you’ll work closely with senior leaders)
  • Competitive pay and more cash in your pocket (less tax) with not-for-profit salary packaging
  • Flexible working conditions
  • Birthday leave - relax and take a day off on us!
  • Professional and career development opportunities
  • Multiple career pathways
  • Discounted gym memberships
  • Free counselling via Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and staff wellness program

About You

You’re commercially driven, but people-first and senior centric. You know how to close—but more importantly, you know how to build trust and guide decisions.

You bring:

• Proven success in sales, property, or business development roles
• A track record of achieving or exceeding targets
• Confidence in presenting, negotiating, and closing
• Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset
• Resilience, energy, and follow-through
• Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce)
• Driver’s licence + flexibility to work occasional weekends
• Experience in retirement living, aged care, or property is highly regarded—but not essential.

Why Join IRT?

Because here, sales isn’t just transactional. You are introducing seniors to a new life with community, services and care wrapped around a beautiful place to live.
You’re helping people make one of life’s biggest—and most meaningful—decisions.
