About the Role

As an Aged Care Employee at IRT Marco Polo Woonona, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents' daily needs and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care and create a nurturing environment for our elderly residents

 

We have 4 Part-Time and Fulltime positions available, with a guaranteed minimum of 24 hours per week, the ideal candidate must be available to work only Mondays- Fridays, weekend shifts are subject to availability. 

 

Your work will include:

  • Assisting our residents with their daily living and personal needs such as eating, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, personal grooming and general mobility
  • Administering medication and applying simple wound dressings
  • Supporting resident participation in lifestyle and social activities

To Be Successful You Will Have

 

  • Desired - Certificate IV in Individual Support 
  • A big heart - you're empathetic, adaptable and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
  • Experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in the aged care sector
