About the Role

IRT Marco Polo Woonona is seeking to appoint an experienced and passionate Enrolled Nurse to drive high quality services. This role strives to improve all areas of care whilst ensuring our residents achieve an optimal quality of life with a focus on legislative requirements.  

 

This role is part-time to work 8 hours per week, working on:

  • Week 1 - Saturday 2pm - 10:30pm. 
  • Week 2 - Friday 2pm - 10.30pm


About the role: 

  • Provide a range of quality care services to customers whilst leading and mentoring the work of others
  • Perform duties in accordance with the Care Plan including the administration of medications and wound care
  • Report and respond appropriately to changes in conditions of customers
  • Providing treatment in complex situations may also be required
  • Attend GP rounds and liaise with other allied health professionals as required
  • Contribute information and assist with the development of Care Plans/AN- ACC in consultation with RN

To Be Successful You Will Have

  • current Nursing registration with AHPRA 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical issues relevant to the field 
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work as required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A genuine interest in Aged Care
