IRT is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse that is looking to build a rewarding career in aged care. Our Registered Nurses provide a high standard of clinical care and inspire our residents to ensure that they age positively.
We have a range of shifts available over a 7 day roster in our Aged Care Centres across the following Illawarra sites, with morning, afternoon and night shifts available.
- IRT Five Islands Court (Port Kembla)
- IRT Tarrawanna
- IRT William Beach Gardens (Kanahooka)
- IRT Woonona
- IRT Marco Polo Unanderra
- IRT Marco Polo Woonona
About the role:
As a registered Nurse, you will provide a high standard of clinical care whilst managing and supervising care workers. You will undertake client assessments, monitor clients' care needs, evaluate care plans and provide treatment as required.

To be successful you will have:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Experience working as a Registered Nurse in an Aged Care Centre environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
- Knowledge of the process of Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)/AN-ACC reporting while meeting any legislative and organisational requirements.
